Frequently Asked Questions

Plain-English answers to the questions we are asked most often.

What does the Pathway Finder do?

It asks about your goal, location, passport, age, study, English, career area, experience and family, then shows the Australian visas that may fit, suggested course levels, how your occupation sits on the skilled lists, an estimate of your skilled visa points and the government charges.

Is the Pathway Finder free?

Yes. The assessment and your plan are free and shown straight away. You do not need to give your name or email to see your results.

Is my information saved or shared?

Your answers stay in your browser while you use the tool. They are only sent to Aussie ASEAN if you choose to send your plan to a counsellor, and we never ask for your passport number or ImmiAccount password.

Is the result migration advice?

No. It is general information based on the published rules, checked on 17 October 2026. A Registered Migration Agent needs to look at your full circumstances before you apply for any visa.

How accurate is the points estimate?

It counts age, English, qualifications, overseas work experience and partner points. It does not include Australian work experience, Professional Year, NAATI, regional study or state nomination points, so your real score may be higher. Use the full points calculator for a detailed check.

What happens after I send my plan?

A counsellor reviews your answers and contacts you by your chosen method during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Melbourne time) to talk through course options and next steps. Visa advice is given by Registered Migration Agent Mohammad Saghir Khan (MARN 1170510).

Information checked against official Australian Government sources on 15 October 2026. Requirements and charges change often. This is general information, not migration advice: book a consultation with a Registered Migration Agent (MARN 1170510) before you apply.
